I will admit – I actually wrote this post when I returned last week but then I got slammed with this thing called life before I could even upload pictures. Everything cameĀ barrelingĀ in with work and school and more work. I had to allow myself to pause for a little extra, so I could catch up on other things.
Anyway, I hope you all had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend!!
And now the original post that had to wait… and a TON of pictures!

I’m back!! My vacation time came and went so quickly… but it was so needed and absolutely enjoyed.
Spending time with my family and Greg really allowed me time to reflect and just enjoy the simple things… conversation, good food, walks, and just the sounds of the ocean. It was calm. I like calm.
Now, I am not really a beach-y person but being there with my feet in the sand was wonderful. I don’t like too hot and I am not one to sit in a bathing suit while I bake (spf 100+, yes please!), but a stroll on the beach with the water just to my ankles while the sun set was everything I needed it to be. It was beautiful; it was perfect.
Needless to say, Greg and I enjoyed ourselves. We have the pics to prove it!
- On a train to a plane!
- Up, up, and away!
- Arrived in time for a sunset stroll
- Greetings from sunny and windy Florida!
- She does 78 beautifully, right?
- Everything was so beautiful!
- The one I love.
- We loved seeing all of the pelicans!
- Me and the cuz!
- We couldn’t pass up posing by the giant pin!
- On our way to Daytona, bright and early!
- Daytona Boardwalk
- My beautiful Nanny and Aunt
- With Jasmine
- Almost home!
My family time was great. I visited my Nanny who just turned a beautiful 78. I spent time with my cousin and her sweetheart. I spent quality time with my aunt and uncles. I don’t get to see my FL family too often, so any time with them is cherished!
Now that I am back home – I have lots to do. My MicroEconomics course started the day after I returned. And work is picking up with some projects. Plus… we have that little business we started! There has been so much to do that I am already thinking about a “Staycation” in July.
Thank goodness that this will be another long weekend because I already need another break!

Your vacation looks as though it was perfect!
